April March 24, 2016, the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as the KVKK) was adopted and published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 of April 7, 2016. A part of the KVKK entered into force on the date of publication, and a part on October 7, 2016.
